Orvis Encounter Pros: The Orvis name & warranty, great short-distance accuracy Cons: Lacks power in windy situations with heavy flies, plastic reel The Orvis Encounter fly fishing combo would’ve topped this list as the best fly fishing combo if the Maxcatch Extreme didn’t come with so many extras and cost so much less
