Spinning Reels vs Baitcaster? Which Is Better? — Saltwater Experience Fishing

At 4.8 by 3.5 by 3 inches this is a properly sized piece — large enough to function as a real shelter rather than just a decorative accent. Bettas will swim in through the eye sockets and use the interior as a resting chamber, which is exactly the kind of enclosed dark space they seek out in a natural environment. Shrimp will graze along the surface and tuck into the smaller openings throughout the day. The skull sits flat and heavy on the substrate right away — no floating, no tilting, no need to bury it to keep it in place. The detail on the bone texture and facial structure reads well under tank lighting and holds up close inspection without looking cheap or painted. It works in a Halloween or dark themed aquascape but it also just works as a bold centerpiece in a standard betta tank where you want something with more character than a basic cave or tube hide
