Shireen Taweel: The Trig Point | Art Ink Pin Badge But generosity did not ariseShireen Taweel: The Trig Point is a major monograph on a practice shaped by cosmology, architecture, mapping and sacred form. Bringing together selected works, an essay by Anneke Jaspers, and a conversation with Noura Al Sayeh Holtrop, the publication traces how Taweel draws on astrophysics, Arab and Islamic cosmologies, ornament and systems of navigation to consider migration, displacement and the search for orientation and home.
