(1915 1918 issue). Constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a raised Cross Patte, overlaid by a Saxon coat of arms, flanked by a date of 1914, the reverse with a raised monogram of Duke Ernst II, unmarked, measuring 31. 13 mm in diameter, weighing 15. 5 grams, accompanied by its miniature, of identical
